Wednesday, August 6th, 2008 | Boon Gee Hi Jonathan,
I'm a drummer from Singapore playing at a jazz club called Jazz At Southbridge.
The club is run by Eddie Chan, who you might have met recently when he went over to see Joe Locke in NY.
I've just arrived in NY a few days back, and will be staying for the month of August to private drum lessons and catch as much shows as i can.
Am hoping to take some private drum lessons from you.
Would you be in NY around this time and be available to teach?
Thanks.
Regards,
Boon Gee

Thursday, January 25th, 2007 | Silverbook Hello Mr. Blake. I am looking for a musician to play at my Bar Mitzvah. I heard that you are 8% Jewish. So, since I see that you are a musician and part Jewish I thought you would be perfect to play at my Bar Mitzvah. the repertoire would consist of mostly traditional Israli songs such as Havah Nagela. I hope you are willing to do this for me. Also, I noticed a picture of you in which you did not have your hat on. I noticed that you had a Jew-Fro...so you would be perfect for this particular gig. -Shalom!!!!

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 | Craig Brann It occurred to me that you actually are one of the swingingest cats to walk God's green earth. I mean, really, can I get an amen out of some people in this guestbook? If we lined up folks from most swingin' to least swingin' - JB would be in the top %1 of the universe's population. And that is a modest estimate....
Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 | Tim Metz LITTLE BUDDHA!! Nice site Blake! You're sounding great. I hope to get back to NYC soon. Later.
